Shane Davidson

Shane is a successful show jumping and dressage competitor, professional trainer, EFA NCAS Level 1 General Coach, PCAQ Specialist level "C" Instructor, Blue card holder, and dedicated breeder of elite performance warmbloods. In 1995 he was offered a position at a training stable in Germany where he spent the next six years working, competing and training in Dressage and Showjumping at various studs and competition stables. Since returning to Australia, his stud has produced horses which have helped him to achieve a great deal of success in the competition arena, as well as inclusions in elite squads. Shane has trained to Grand Prix level in dressage and is currently competing in World Cup Showjumping competitions. In 2005 Shane successfully competed in the World Young Horse Championships on Fairbanks Catargo. Whilst in Germany Shane had the privilege to train with some of the world's best coaches in Dressage and Showjumping including: Hannes Baumgart, Gilbert Boeckmann, Hans-Heinrich Engemann, Harry Klugmann, Manfred Koetter, Martina Hannover, Joachim Heyer, Ulf Mueller, Hilmar Meyer, Norbert Nuxoll, Ulla Salzgeber, Gerd Sosath, Nicole Uphoff.

Mattea Davidson

Mattea Davidson manages Davidson Equestrian. She has been riding for the past 15 years progressing through the pony club ranks to FEI level competition and in recent years has been concentrating on producing quality young dressage, eventing and showjumping horses. Mattea has been successful in breaking-in and training young horses. One of her horses was awarded the Queensland Eventing Mare of the Year award in 2010, and another selected as a finalist as 2010 Equestrian Queensland Horse of the Year. Mattea manages to be consistently competitive in both Showjumping and Eventing disciplines all over Australia. Mattea graduated as a Veterinarian with honours in 2010 and specialises in equine reproduction and dentistry. She also works part time at a mixed animal practice in Gatton. Mattea is a NCAS Level One Introductory Coach - lessons, clinics and training is available.
