Davidson Equestrian

Davidson Equestrian perform all stud work on-site with resident veterinarian Dr Mattea Davidson B.V.Sc (Hons) specialising in Equine Reproduction. Fresh and frozen semen is used with mares being scanned every four hours and throughout the night when close to ovulation.

Stallions can be be collected with the use of the breeding mount and semen sent off to customers in Australia.



Mares are observed close to foaling down with the use of a 'Magic Breed' foaling alarm which is used during the night to monitor the mares progress.


Both fresh and frozen semen is used allowing us to increase the quality of genetics and hence the quality of our horses.
